Six weeks for a party at a venue, four for something at home. Longer if it falls near a holiday weekend.
What do you write in a 30th birthday card?
Acknowledge the number rather than dancing around it — people are more relaxed about thirty than the greeting card industry assumes. One specific memory, then something about the decade ahead.
Is it acceptable to throw your own 30th?
Completely normal now. If you are hosting your own and paying, saying "no gifts" on the invitation removes any awkwardness.
What games work at an adult birthday?
Table-based ones people can ignore: trivia sheets, memories cards, guess the baby photo. Nothing that requires performing.
What should I print where?
