Frequently Asked Questions
Before you buy
What exactly am I buying?
A digital template, not a physical product. Nothing gets posted to you. You receive a link that opens the design in Canva, where you personalise it and then print it yourself or send it to a printer.
Do I need a paid Canva account?
No. Everything works on a free Canva account. You would only need Canva Pro for fonts or graphics you add yourself that carry a crown icon.
Do I need design experience?
No. Editing means clicking on text and typing over it. If you can use a word processor, you can use these.
Can I see what it looks like before buying?
Every listing shows preview images of the design. If you want to try the editing process first, we have a free sample template you can open and play with.
What sizes do the templates come in?
It varies by product and is listed on each page. Invitations are usually 5x7 inches, welcome signs come in several sizes up to 24x36, and game sheets are letter or A4.
After you buy
When do I get my files?
Immediately. The download link appears on the confirmation page and is emailed to you as soon as payment goes through.
I did not receive my email.
Check your spam and promotions folders first, since automated emails often land there. If it is genuinely missing, email us with your order number and we will resend it.
The Canva link is not working.
Nine times out of ten this is because you were not logged in to Canva when you clicked. Log in at canva.com first, then click the link again. If it still fails, send us your order number.
How long do I have access to my template?
Once you click Use template, the copy lives in your Canva account permanently. Download the finished file to your own device too, as a backup.
Can I edit on my phone?
Yes, using the Canva app. Text editing works fine on a phone. Precise alignment is much easier on a computer.
Printing
Can I print at home?
Yes, for anything up to A4 or letter size. Use cardstock between 250 and 300 gsm for invitations and cards, and set your printer to Actual Size rather than Fit to Page.
Where should I print large signs?
A local print shop or an online printer. Export as PDF Print from Canva and ask for foam board if the sign needs to stand on an easel.
How many times can I print?
As many as you need for your own event. There is no per copy limit.
Why do my printed colours look different?
Screens emit light, paper reflects it, so print is always slightly duller. Home printers also vary. Print one test copy before doing a full run.
Licensing
Can I resell what I print?
No. All templates carry a personal use licence. You may use them for your own events, but you cannot sell the files, sell printed copies, or use the designs commercially.
Can I share the template with a friend?
No. Sharing the Canva link is the same as giving away the product. Each purchase covers one person and their own events.
Can I use a design for more than one party?
Yes. Your own events are covered, so a design bought for one birthday can be edited and reused for another.
I run a party planning business. Can I use these for clients?
Not under the standard licence. Contact us and we will discuss a commercial licence.
Orders and refunds
Can I get a refund?
Digital downloads cannot be returned once delivered, since you already have the file. If a file will not open, is corrupted, or is not what was described, contact us and we will fix it or refund you.
There is a mistake in the template.
Tell us. If something is genuinely wrong with the design we will correct it and send you the updated version.
Can you customise a design for me?
Depending on what you need, sometimes yes. Email us and describe what you are after.
How do I contact you?
Use the contact form and include your order number if your question is about a purchase. We reply within one business day.
