Printable Bridal Shower Games
Bridal showers live or die on pacing. Too many games and it becomes a school sports day; none at all and half the room sits in silence because the bride's colleagues have never met her cousins. Three or four well chosen games solves it.
Every sheet here is editable in Canva, so you can add the couple's names, adjust the questions and match your colour scheme.
Games in this collection
- How well do you know the bride — the reliable opener, since everyone can guess
- He said she said — quotes from both partners, guests decide who said what
- Bridal shower bingo — guests predict the gifts, then mark them off during opening
- Advice for the newlyweds — a keepsake the couple actually reads later
- Date night ideas — guests fill in a card, the couple gets a year of plans
- Wedding emoji pictionary and ring hunt for something lighter
- Two truths and a lie and guess the age from the photo
Getting the tone right
Check with the bride before buying anything risqué. A shower with grandmothers and a shower that is really a second bachelorette need different games, and the person who gets it wrong is always the host.
Bridal shower game questions
How many games should I plan?
Three for a two hour shower, four if it runs to three hours. Space them between food and present opening rather than running them back to back.
What prizes work?
Candles, hand cream, a bottle of prosecco, chocolate, a small plant. Five to fifteen dollars each is the normal range. Have one prize per game.
Can I run these virtually?
Yes. Send the PDF beforehand. How well do you know the bride and emoji pictionary work particularly well on video; anything involving passing objects does not.
How do I get the answers for how well do you know the bride?
Send the bride the question list a week or two ahead and ask her to fill it in privately. Read her answers out during the game.
Do these work for a co-ed shower?
Yes. He said she said and date night ideas in particular are built for both partners being present.
