How It Works

Everything at Paper Goods Party is a digital template. You are not waiting on a delivery van. You buy a design, personalise it in Canva, and print it yourself or send it to a print shop. Most people go from purchase to printed invitation in under half an hour.

The four steps

1. Choose your design

Browse by occasion, by product, or by theme. Every listing shows exactly what is included: the sizes, the number of pages, and whether the design comes as part of a matching set.

2. Get your download link straight away

As soon as your payment goes through, the download appears on the confirmation page and lands in your inbox. There is no waiting period and nothing gets posted to you.

3. Open and edit in Canva

Your download contains a link that opens the template in Canva. Click it, and a personal copy is added to your account. The original stays untouched, so you can always start over.

Change the names, dates, times and addresses. Adjust colours and fonts if you want. Everything is editable except the licensed background artwork, which stays fixed.

4. Download and print

Export as PDF, JPG or PNG. Print at home, take the file to a print shop, upload it to an online printer, or skip printing entirely and send the file digitally to your guests.

What you need

• A free Canva account. No paid subscription required. Sign up at canva.com if you do not have one.
• A device. Canva works in a browser on a laptop or desktop, and through the app on a phone or tablet. Editing is easier on a bigger screen, but a phone works.
• A printer or a print shop. Neither if you are sending the design digitally.

What you are buying

You are buying a personal use licence for a digital file. That means you can edit it, print it as many times as you need for your own event, and share the printed result with your guests.

You cannot resell the file, share the Canva link with other people, sell printed copies, or use the design commercially. If you need a commercial licence, get in touch and we will sort something out.

Common questions

Do I need to know how to use design software?

No. If you can edit a document, you can edit these. Canva works by clicking on text and typing over it. Our editing guide walks through it step by step with video.

What if I make a mistake?

Nothing breaks. Canva has undo, and your original template link always creates a fresh copy if you want to start again from scratch.

Can I get a refund?

Because these are instant digital downloads, they cannot be returned once the file has been delivered. If a file will not open or something is genuinely wrong with it, contact us and we will fix it or refund you.

How long do I have access?

Once the template is copied into your Canva account it stays there. Download the file to your own device as well, as a backup.

Can I use one design for more than one event?

Yes. A personal use licence covers your own events, so a design bought for one birthday can be edited and reused for another.
