Printable Baby Shower Menus
A menu card tells guests what is on offer without them lifting every lid, and it makes a simple spread look intentional. For a shower with a sit-down lunch it goes at each place setting; for a buffet, one framed card at the start of the table is enough.
Editable in Canva, so you can list exactly what you are serving and match the design to your invitations.
Formats
- Individual menu cards — 4x9 or 5x7, one per guest
- Buffet menu signs — one 8x10 card in a frame at the start of the table
- Drinks and mimosa bar menus — listing juices, mixers and a non-alcoholic option
- Dessert table menus
A note on drinks
The guest of honour is not drinking, and there will usually be others in the room who are not either, for reasons they may not want to explain. A drinks menu that lists the non-alcoholic options with the same weight as the rest makes that easy for everyone.
Baby shower menu questions
Do I need a menu for a small shower?
Not really, once you are under about twelve guests and everything is on one table. A single buffet card is still a nice touch and costs almost nothing.
What size should the menu be?
4x9 or 5x7 for individual cards. 8x10 in a frame for a buffet sign.
What paper should I use?
250 gsm cardstock so individual cards stand up against a glass, or any weight if it is going in a frame.
Should I list allergens?
Yes. A short legend at the bottom for vegetarian, gluten free and nut content saves a lot of questions.
When should I print it?
A day or two before, once you know what you are actually serving rather than what you planned to serve.
Can I match it to the invitations?
Yes. Duplicate the invitation in Canva and rebuild the menu with the same fonts and colours.
