Printable Wedding Seating Chart and Table Card Templates
Our wedding collection currently features one design: minimalist seating chart cards and table cards in black and white. It is an editable Canva template, so you type in your table numbers and guest names yourself, and you can download it instantly after purchase.
The clean black and white look fits almost any wedding style, from a modern city venue to a rustic barn or garden reception. A free Canva account is enough to edit it, and since nothing is shipped, you can start preparing your cards the same day.
Why minimalist table cards work
Black and white typography stays easy to read from across a room, which matters when guests are looking for their seat. A minimalist design also sits comfortably next to whatever flowers, candles and linens you choose, so it will not clash with your color palette. If you want a touch of color, every font and color in the template can be changed in Canva.
Organizing your seating plan
Finalize the seating plan once most RSVPs are in, usually two to three weeks before the wedding. Group guests by how they know you, keep couples and families together, and seat older relatives away from speakers. Because the template is digital, a last-minute change only means editing a name and printing one card again.
Printing your seating cards
Export a print-quality PDF and print on a sturdy 250 to 300 gsm cardstock so the cards stand or display neatly. You can print at home or send the file to a print shop. Our printing guide explains the settings. Print one test card first to check alignment and color before you print the full set.
