Vintage Party Printables
Vintage covers a wide span, and picking which era you mean is most of the work. A 1920s art deco invitation and a 1970s retro one are both vintage and share nothing else. These templates are grouped by period so you can commit to one.

Pick the era from the birth year
For a milestone birthday, the strongest choice is usually the decade the person was born or the decade they were a teenager. A fiftieth in 2027 means a 1977 birth year, which puts either the seventies or the nineties on the table, and the nineties will get more recognition from the guests.

Which era should I choose?
Whichever your guests will recognise. Authenticity matters less than the room getting the reference.
What paper suits vintage?
Cream or ivory rather than bright white, in a matte finish. Bright white undercuts the aged look immediately.
Can I mix eras?
Better not to. Deco borders with seventies colours reads as a mistake rather than a choice.
Does art deco need gold?
No. Black and white deco is striking and prints far more reliably at home, since gold on a home printer comes out yellow-brown.
