Gender Neutral Baby Shower Printables
Gender neutral has stopped being the fallback option and become the most common choice. Some parents do not know the sex, some do and would rather not build a party around it, and some simply prefer sage to pastel blue.

Wording that stays neutral
Small choices on the invitation matter more than the colors. Use the parents' names rather than mother-to-be if both are hosting. Avoid he-or-she and team-blue-or-pink framing, which turns the shower into a guessing game whether you meant it to or not. Baby Smith or Baby Anna works better than any pronoun.

Sage, cream, oat, terracotta, mustard and gray. Yellow is the exception among brighter colors.

Greenery, safari, woodland, boho and neutral. All five carry no gender signal in the right palette.

Does this work for an adoption or surrogacy shower?
Yes, and it is often the better choice. The wording is easily adjusted to fit any route to parenthood.
What paper should I use?
Cream or natural matte cardstock, 250 to 300 gsm. Neutral palettes look best on warm rather than bright white stock.
