Printable Water Bottle Labels
Water bottle labels are the cheapest way to make a drinks table look styled. Strip the shop label off a case of bottles, wrap your own around, and a supermarket multipack becomes part of the party.
All editable in Canva, printed several to a sheet.
What's in this collection
- Baby shower labels, including punny options
- Birthday labels with name and age
- Wedding and bridal shower labels
- Seasonal labels for Christmas and Halloween
- Juice pouch and kids drink labels
How to apply them
- Peel the original label off. Warm water loosens the glue if it resists.
- Print your labels on standard paper or waterproof sticker paper.
- Cut along the guides.
- Wrap around the bottle and secure the overlap with double sided tape or a glue stick.
Standard labels are 8 x 2 inches, which wraps a 16.9 oz bottle with a small overlap. Check your bottle before printing a batch, since sizes vary between brands.
Water bottle label questions
Will paper labels survive an ice bucket?
Not for long. Paper softens within an hour or two on chilled bottles. If drinks are sitting in ice all afternoon, print on waterproof sticker paper instead.
What size should the labels be?
8 x 2 inches for a standard 16.9 oz bottle. Measure the flat area on your bottle and adjust in Canva if it differs.
Do I have to remove the original label?
It looks considerably better if you do. Leaving it on means a printed band over branded plastic, which reads as a shortcut.
Tape or glue?
Double sided tape is quicker and holds better on condensation than a glue stick.
Can I match them to my invitations?
Yes. Duplicate the invitation in Canva and rebuild the label with the same fonts and colors.
