Printable Wall Art
Printable wall art is the same thing as a framed print from a shop, minus the shipping and the markup. You buy the file, print it at whatever size suits your wall, and put it in a frame you already own.
All editable in Canva, so you can change colours to match a room or add a name and a date.

Sizes and framing
The standard frame sizes are 8x10, 11x14, 16x20 and A4 or A3. Buy the frame first, then print to fit it — doing it the other way round means paying for custom framing, which costs more than the print.
For a gallery wall, print everything at the same size in identical frames. It reads as deliberate rather than accumulated.
Wall art questions
What paper should I print on?
Matte photo paper or heavy matte cardstock, 250 gsm or above. Gloss reflects light and shows every fingerprint behind glass.
Should I print at home or at a shop?
Home is fine up to A4 with a decent printer. Above that, a print shop gives better colour depth and costs only a few dollars.
Will the colours match my screen?
Approximately. Screens emit light and paper reflects it, so prints always read slightly darker and duller. Print one test before committing to a set.
Can I change the colours?
Yes. Every colour is editable by hex code in Canva, so you can match a print to a specific wall or cushion.
Can I resize the file?
Canva Pro resizes in one click. On a free account, create a new design at the size you want and copy the elements across.
Can I sell prints I make from these?
No. These carry a personal use licence covering your own home and gifts, not resale.
