Printable Party Signs
Signs do the quiet organising at an event. They tell people where to put presents, where the bar is, what a game is and what time things happen — which means you are not answering the same four questions for two hours.
All editable in Canva, in sizes from table cards to poster boards.

Sizes and where to print
5x7 or 8x10 in a small frame for table signs. 11x14 to 16x20 for a welcome sign at a door. 18x24 or 24x36 for anything on an easel or acting as a backdrop.
Anything above A4 should go to a print shop. Foam board rather than paper for signs that need to stand up, especially outdoors where paper warps within an hour.
Party sign questions
How many signs does an event need?
Four to eight for most parties: welcome, food, drinks, gifts, and one per activity station. Beyond that they compete with each other and stop being read.
What should a table sign say?
Two or three words. "Treats", "Help yourself", "Cards and gifts". Anything longer does not get read at all.
What paper should I use?
250 gsm matte cardstock. Matte photographs better than gloss, which matters because signs end up in the background of every photo.
Do I need frames or easels?
Cheap picture frames for small signs, a tabletop easel for medium, a floor easel plus foam board for large. Frames are the cheapest way to make an A4 print look expensive.
Can I match signs to my invitations?
Yes, and it is the single change that makes an event look designed. Duplicate the invitation in Canva and rebuild each sign from it.
